We have over 40 years experience with the outdoors, backpacking, hiking, climbing, camping, hunting and survival in the wild. Niland started with Cub Scouts and continued on in the Boy Scouts. Camping Backpacking and Hunting life long has been shared and done solo. When you are backpacking in the high country having the right equipment is paramount. Car camping requires different equipment or it is inconvenient. Our camping travels have been from the west coast to the east coast and include Canada to Mexico. Our first store is Niland's Place Campsite. We carry over a 1, 200 camping products and still always have more to add. Our second store is Niland 2-Way Radio. the radio website grew out of our camping website where we offered Blackbox Radios. There came a point were our supplier could not keep up with our demand. To resolve this shortage we manged to become an official dealer for Klein Electronics. We negotiated a second electronics distributor and now have marine radios of different brands and carry over a 150 communication products. The same 30 day satisfaction guaranty is in effect for our radio products. Nilands life long occupation has been in electronics as a Biomed/imaging engineer and has a degree in electronics design and theory.
Niland's Place Hunting is a crossover from our camping store. Although our hunting supply comes from a different suppliers it is hard sometimes to decide it an item is for camping or hunting. While a gut hook knife is more for hunting a folding knife could be used for camping also. Our hunting store was started last so the few hundred product line is still growing. We are looking for authors that wish to publish on our many sites we have to choose from. We need input for camping and hunting tips and stories about your camping or hunting trip.
